BYSSHE COURT BARN – A STUNNING RURAL VENUE SITUATED ON A GENUINE WORKING FARM
Bysshe Court Barn is a stunning 17th Century Surrey wedding Barn with a stunning roof, cartwheel chandelier lights & minstrels gallery situated within a secluded walled courtyard. Providing you with a stunning blank canvas to create the wedding reception of your dreams! It’s an absolutely charming country wedding venue and will accommodate up to 100 guests for your wedding reception.
Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside, within very easy reach of Gatwick, the M25 and M23, Bysshe Court Barn is part of a family run farm breeding Dairy Shorthorn and Aberdeen Angus beef cattle. The farm has been in the hands of the Osgood family for more than 70 years, with Mark’s father Sam, nearly in his 90’s, still helping on the farm!
Now Mark runs the farm whilst Tracey helps whenever and wherever required on the farm, running the small livery yard as well as organising the functions taking place on this farm, of which Bysshe Court Barn Weddings is a part. Work still continues on the farm every day of the year to produce milk and you might be lucky enough to see some of the farm animals when you visit to check out the venue for your wedding. Horses are also kept on site as there is also a livery yard at the farm and the horses are stabled close to the entrance to the wedding barn. It’s a really charming entrance for your guests to enjoy!
A pretty courtyard fronts Bysshe Court Barn which is perfect for sunny, summer weddings. The wedding barn is yours from the day before your wedding to decorate – to be as creative, imaginative & bespoke as you desire! Table and chairs for up to 100 people are included in the rental, along with toilet facilities and ample free parking. Bysshe Court Barn is not licensed which means you can bring your own or provide a mobile licensed bar.
Have a wedding reception that truly stands out from the crowd, with no restrictions on catering, no corkage, and the possibility that the cows and horses will give the odd sound effect from being on a working farm! We have compiled a list of professional companies who can help you coordinate every aspect of your special day, from wedding flowers to food, to entertainment and more.
A whole day’s hire of the barn, plus the day before to set up & the day after to dismantle. This includes ten round 5ft tables, 120 wooden padded seat chairs, five 6ft trestle tables, luxury toilets & plenty of parking.
Just ask! We have all sorts of props to hire such as tablecloths, vintage crockery, bunting, hay or straw bales, milk churns even vintage tractors to give that authentic farm theme!
Camping in the farm grounds is available for weddings on Friday and Saturday night, so you can make a true wedding festival weekend of it.
Wedding dates available are from mid-March to mid-November. Demand is high so make an appointment for a visit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
