    1. This is a beautiful venue, especially the barn. Krystyna, our coordinator was wonderful, so helpful with every detail. Russel was fantastic at working the guests and looked after us all day. Such a friendly team. We are going to miss them! A truly magical day from start to finish.

    2. We had a March wedding breakfast and reception at the Talbot. The entire team were amazing. Especially Russell who kept the day moving and entertaining, always made sure we (bride and groom) were happy too. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable day.

    3. We cannot recommend The Talbot and its fabulous Staff enough. It was the perfect venue for our September Wedding. We couldn’t have wished for a better Wedding Coordinator in Krystyna. Living 70 miles away, we were totally dependent on help and advice and communications were great from booking the Wedding to the day itself. Krystyna is incredibly kind, helpful and patient with a wealth of experience and a true professional. She clearly loves and cares about her work and puts a lot of effort in creating the very Wedding you are looking for. Flexibility was key to us regarding the menu and accommodation for our guests, both the night before and the day of the Wedding and Krystyna never failed to help us in so many ways – including an emergency call minutes before the Ceremony to help fix some body tape to my Wedding Dress straps! We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. Russell is the perfect host and again we couldn’t have wished for better – we all loved him. He was fantastic with us and our Guests all day long (and beyond!) and he knew exactly how to cajole them to be where and when they were meant to be at various times of the day, without them feeling in any way they were being organized. The timings were faultless, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere was intimate and amazing. We were able to enjoy every minute of our Wedding with no worries about arrangements – priceless. A MASSIVE THANK-YOU to Krystyna, Russell, the Chefs, Service Staff and everyone else at the Talbot (always so helpful and smiling) for making it happiest day of our lives and a day our Guests thoroughly enjoyed and still talk about xx

    4. We had our wedding at the Talbot on October and we can honestly say it was an absolute dream. Right from the start we had the best experience worn Krystyna, the head of sales and then onto the actual wedding day where Russel and his team did an incredible job. No issue was too big and all our needs were met without even realising it was being done which meant we could just relax and enjoy the day. The atmosphere and the food were key for us and both were outstanding at the Talbot. We would throughly recommend this venue if you are after a relaxed but high standard wedding were the people and the food are the main focus! All of the wedding guests repeatedly told us what a great wedding it was and a lot of that was down to the staff making it run so smoothly and with great warmth!

    5. Me and my wife selected The Talbot for our wedding and we were so happy to have done so. Despite being forced to organise things at such short notice due to circumstances beyond our control, Krystyna and her team were so very flexible at accommodating all of our wishes – keeping the whole process stress free for us. Then on the day, the service staff were great, and extremely friendly. Our MC, Russell, was perfect, helping everything run smoothly and being able to adapt to every problem that we seemed to encounter. Many thanks to everyone at The Talbot for such an amazing experience! 🙂

    6. We had our Wedding at the Talbot on the 26/10 and it was the best day of our lives. Krystyna the Wedding Coordinator is a perfectionist which is what you want when you are planning a wedding. She is extremely kind hearted and nothing was too much trouble, she went above and beyond during all stages of the planning which made me feel reassured that our day was going to be everything we had dreamed of. The day went perfectly without any problems, this was due to being in the capable hands of Russell who looked after us and our guests on the day. He was so much fun and at the same time clearly very experienced at what he does. He made sure the day flowed and once again nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff I came into contact with before the big day and during the wedding were polite and chatty. The food we had the night before in the bar was tasty and the Wedding Breakfast was even better. We had so many compliments about the food which made us really happy. The rooms we had were lovely and clean, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I will never forget how perfect our day was and this down the team who work so hard and are brilliant at what they do. The venue is perfect for what we wanted and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you Krystyna, Russell and the rest of the team for the best day ever!

    7. We got married at The Talbot last month and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue. It was perfect. Krystyna, the wedding co-ordinator, made us feel at ease instantly. As a woman who manages events for a living, I have high expectations and a tendency to want to manage all the details but I knew from the first meeting with Krystyna that we need not worry about anything. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

      The majority of our guests (60) stayed overnight. The feedback on the rooms was wholly positive and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant overlooking their beautiful garden the next morning.

      All in all, a wonderful experience and a day we will cherish forever.

    8. We got married at the Talbot Inn, July 2018 and it was the most amazing venue. Intimate and characterful. Krystyna was lovely and made the planning stress free – she is very organised and the whole team were extremely friendly. Russel was also amazing on the day, again very friendly and well organised, made everything run very smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! And the hog roast in the evening was even better! We did get married on the hottest day of the year and it was very hot in the venue while saying our vowels and eating, and also the rooms were hot to sleep in at night, however on the whole, it was the best day of my life and I’ll never forget the people who helped that happen- thank you everyone at the Talbot Inn!!

    9. We found The Talbot the perfect size to seat 67 at the Wedding Breakfast and for a total of 100 guests in the evening (although I do believe they can accommodate more).

      Krystyna was extremely helpful from start to finish and we were immediately put at ease by her expertise. We’d set our date last October and our April wedding could be accommodated.

      We met with Krystyna 3 or 4 times; nothing was too much trouble for her and we put our complete confidence in her.

      Their checklists, to finalise details, are extremely good and were also an aide-memoire to ourselves.

      When the day arrived, everything was perfect! We arrived after our church ceremony (but one can have ceremonies there), and received our guests in the lovely Garden Room where delicious canapes were served with the arrival beverages.

      There was ample time for photos in the garden prior to be seated for the Wedding Breakfast – the food was absolutely delicious and we would certainly recommend booking a Taster Evening – this was a huge factor and, we actually found it very helpful to take my two adult sons so that there was more of an informed choice and it was actually an evening of fun too! We decided on different wines for the actual day and this was easily accommodated.

      The waiting staff were swift and professional and the quality of food on the day was equally as good as our Taster Session.

      What we found most beneficial was having the accommodation n the same location; this made such a difference to the guests who’d travelled further to be able to check in and settle without the worry of driving back later that evening.

      As said, a perfect day from start to finish! Thank you to everyone at The Talbot, we would highly recommend them!

      I can’t recommend the Talbot more highly. Everything about our day was magical, the superb organisation by Krystyna ahead of the day, the attention to detail of the team on the day – no request was too big, the food was delicious, the suppliers who work with the team, and the venue itself received so many amazing comments from our guests. We have so many special memories of our day, we would do it all again in a heartbeat. A wedding at The Talbot will not disappoint!

    11. A wonderful team of professional people who went above and beyond making our day all we wanted and more – especially in such trying times. We cannot recommend the Talbot highly enough. If we could we would love to do the whole day again!
