Wedding Venues Epsom
Epsom is located in the borough of Epsom and Ewell, to the south of Greater London. Famous for Epsom Downs Racecourse, the Epsom Derby, the second leg of the English Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing is run each June. Historically, Epsom was known as a spa town, and Epsom Salts are named after this town, which was prepared by boiling and condensing the mineral waters at Epsom. Due to easy access to London and the Surrey countryside the orough of Epsom and Ewell was named by the British television programme Location, Location, Location as the most desirable place to live in the United Kingdom.
