THE WEDDING THEME

How to choose your wedding theme and colours

Where do you start in deciding how to theme your wedding?  It could be on a country theme (Caribbean, Scottish, Mediterranean) or perhaps on flowers or a colour.  Once you have decided on your theme, a very good idea is to set up a 'mood board'.    Pick up ideas of colours for flowers, cake, favours and so on, cut pictures out of bridal magazines or brochures and then paste them all together.  This will give you a real feel for what works and what doesn't.  There are five examples below of mood boards, one of them is the Monochrome Hollywood style of black and white - very grown-up and very popular.  See what you think and get creating!
