If you live in England or Wales, since 1995 you have been able to marry in any Register Office or civil wedding venues that are licensed to hold Civil Weddings and Partnerships.  We have some fantastic locations of unusual wedding venues that will host a wedding reception plus hotels and bed and breakfasts that offer accommodation in Surrey for your guests.

The Surrey countryside is a fantastic location to hold wedding receptions.  The area is packed full of hotel wedding venues from a romantic venue to a wealth of historic hotels, castles and stately homes that have fabulous gardens and views.  Do make a shortlist of your chosen venues and go visit them before deciding where to hold your wedding reception.  It may be fantastic to imagine your guests enjoying canapes and champagne by a lake, but what if the weather is not good.  Is there enough inside space of your hotel to hold receptions?  Do these receptions venues have hotel accommodation should your guests wish to stay overnight.  Some venues will give you exclusivity on the day to be sure that receptions do not clash with each other - find out if your chosen venues offer this to you.
